Peery-Menopause Circle

Hello lovely humans,

You opened this email, so perimenopause and menopause must be on your mind! If this chapter of life feels confusing, tender, rage inducing, fantastic, or strangely unnamed (probably all of those in a single day), you don’t have to sort it out alone.

We’re starting a peer group that will meet every other Tuesday afternoon at 4pm Pacific on Zoom.

Each gathering includes a short orienting talk, time in the body, and space for shared reflection. Topics build on one another, but no prior session is required. From time to time, we may have guest speakers.

Registered group members will also have an ongoing discussion forum and a resources list where you can drop in any time, day or night, hot flash soaked sheets and all.

With care, Suz and Unwind Learning

P. S. This is an ongoing, relational space that is inclusive of neurodiversity and gender. Respect is the only requirement. The group offers a means based sliding scale. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but we do need to keep the lights on. Marketing will be strongly discouraged, though professionals are welcome to join.

FAQ

Is this a closed group or a series I have to attend from the beginning? No. This is a rolling peer group that meets every other Tuesday at 4pm Pacific on Zoom. That said, this is set up as a monthly fee to be in the group with a 28 day free trial.

Do I need prior knowledge or to attend earlier sessions? Not at all. Each gathering more or less stands on its own, with brief orientation at the start. Topics build over time, but no preparation is required. It's not the PTA. We won't judge.

Is this therapy or a class? This is a peer-led discussion space, not a substitute for therapy or medical care. It’s designed for shared reflection, nervous system support, and collective sense-making, including sharing about the long, long, long journey to finding quality therapy or medical care for peri!

Do I need to speak or share? No. Listening is full participation. Just keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times.

Are there recordings? Eh. Probably not. Though, the discussion forum and resources will be there for all who are registered. We may record topical short videos or offer handy one page PDFs from time to time because who has time for a book or podcast when we can't find our car keys? Again?

Looking for a group to talk about hands on topics in expanded states care as a professional working with clients and patients?
