Ready for Some Magic?

Join Dr. Irby and Suz for a free monthly gathering where we’ll come together for a lightly facilitated, deeply human hour for professionals exploring topics in bodywork, medical care, psychiatry, and expanded states.

APRIL 10, 2026, NOON PACIFIC

Liberation Therapy and Biopsychosocial+Spiritual Context

The world feels very wobbly right now, and it is not ok. Our client-patients are picking up on it (as they do). Their responses make perfect sense.

So, the supernatural question becomes: what are even doing these days?! And… where did the magic wander off to?

We’ll gather next on April 10 at noon (Pacific) to explore:

✨ Liberation Therapy frameworks (and avoiding gaslighting)

✨ Reconnecting patients with "the world worth saving"

✨ The Biopsychosocial + Spiritual Context

✨ Hands-on and somatic techniques to connect clients with their heart-felt breath

✨ Unwind postures that reinforce collapse, repression, and depression

✨ How to work when there is too much for one body to hold

✨ Energy hygiene rituals (shout out to Rev. Katherine Revior's teaching!!)

✨ And yes… we will go looking for that magic again

Looking forward to continuing the adventure together, Suz & Daniel

Touch with Substance Symposium

October 2026

We center grounded, consent-based approaches that honor complexity, lived experience, and responsible practice.

If your work thoughtfully engages touch in expanded or non-ordinary states through clinical, cultural, or embodied lenses, we encourage you to apply and contribute to this growing, collaborative conversation.

Elders Emerging: Path of Invitation

Select Fridays, April - June 2026, with Sabrina Santa Clara

Through shared story, relational dialogue, contemplative and embodied practice — and drawing from animism, nondual spirituality, Neoshamanic IFS, and the deep knowing carried in women’s lived experience — this circle offers support in:

Integrating life experience

Releasing limiting beliefs around aging

Meeting grief and transition with companionship

Deepening clarity about what matters now

Reconnecting with purpose beyond productivity

Research continues to show that psychedelics can be an effective treatment option for those living with a wide range of pain conditions. On September 27 & 28, REMAP Therapeutics and the Psychedelics & Pain Association (PPA) are hosting an online Symposium that will elevate the rapidly growing body of knowledge in research and pain-patient communities around the use of psychedelics for pain management and treatment of neurological and physical conditions. Registration is offered on a sliding scale.

Unwind is honored to share a new resource I co-authored with EPIC Psychedelic and Autistic Psychedelic: Sensory-Affirming Resources and Checklists: A Neurodiverse-Informed Psychedelic and Altered States Preparation Guide v1.0. It’s a living document designed to support ethical, sensory-informed care for neurodivergent and highly sensitive individuals. As a companion, I’m also offering a sensory-friendly playlist I created for my neurodiverse and heightened-anxiety clients, gentle, grounding, and adaptable for many states of being.
